Poole Town Football Club Kids Initiative
At the end of the 2017/2018 season Poole Town FC launched its Kids Initiative. The purpose behind it is to open up the fun of football to all local children, especially for those facing financial, emotional or physical hardship. The club’s aim is to promote, fundraise and support local charities and organisations that provide help to local disadvantaged children. We offer the following as part of the scheme:
-
Free family tickets for all local school children for selected home games this season
-
Free places within our holiday soccer camps for children from qualifying charities/organisations
-
Charity fund raising events held throughout the year
-
Free attendance of ‘Beat the Goalie’ teams for charity fund raising events (subject to player availability). Very popular with kids!
-
Online Kids & Community newsletter
We are proud to launch this Kids & Community website which will be dedicated to the extensive work the club strives to do for the benefit of the local community. It will also feature news and information on the 30 or so youth, ladies and less abled teams that play below our first team.
We welcome enquiries from local children’s charities or organisations if they feel we may be able to assist them in any way. We also welcome enquiries from local businesses or individuals about sponsorship opportunities for the Kids Initiative and our wider work within the community.
In either case please contact us HERE...
