A brilliant day was had both on and off the field when a young development team from Chelsea visited Poole Town's Black Gold Stadium in July.

Dispite losing 2-0 to The Blues the game was a good workout for the squad ahead of the new season. Indeed until a raft of changes were made, which saw Poole's first team replaced by a number of reserves and trialists, the game had been very competitive with the half time score being 0-0.

A crowd of over 1400 enjoyed the summer sunshine whilst spectating on this very enjoyable game.
