Charity Race Night - University Hospitals Dorset Charity Event

Following the Charity Race Night that Poole Town FC hosted back in November, a cheque presentation was made recently to acknowledge the £5,773 the evening raised for University Hospitals Dorset Charity.

The funds raised will go towards the Club’s overall target of raising £6,500 for the Charity this season to enable it to buy toys, consoles and soft furnishings for the new Children’s Ward at Bournemouth Hospital.

Presenting the cheque was Janine Golding from the UHD Charity, Richard Gale from Poole Town FC (middle) and Dick Thomas from Poole Centenary Club, the venue hosts for the Race Night.

Thanks also go local charity, The Gale Foundation Trust, who donated £2,500 towards the total.
