Field International Donate To The Wave 105 Cash For Kids #SportsChallenge

Everyone at the Poole Town FC Kids Initiative would like to say Thank You to the team at Field International in Poole for their outstanding support during the Wave 105 Cash For Kids #SportsChallenge.

With their help we managed 3rd place in the fundraising leaderboard which unlocked a further £1500 of matched funding for this worthy charity.

The Results are in Cash For Kids Sports Challenge

3rd PRIZE OF £1,500 FOR KIDS INITIATIVE

I’d like to give a huge thank you to all who assisted us in our first participation in Wave 105’s annual sports fundraising competition.

Tasked with raising funds through a 4 week window, spanning across September and October, 19 sports clubs across the south entered to win a match funded first prize of up to £5,000. Thanks to major sponsorship, once more, from local companies Field International and Jade Aden, we were confident that we had a good chance of winning.

Further corporate sponsorship from new sponsors, LMA Architects and Wessex Building Contractors added to the funds as did a number of personal donations.

We raised £154 from the sale of Kids Initiative merchandise and nearly £200 from the 2 bucket collections we held during our home matches against Hartley Wintney and Bracknell Town.

In total we raised £5,466 which placed us in 3^rd place, winning a grant of £1,500 from Cash For Kids. Adding that to the funds raised will boost our funds by nearly £7,000.

FREE Saturday Morning Girls MiniKickers Coaching Sessions - Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

Update: The Saturday sessions have now finished for the season. We are pleased to say that the FREE Minikicker sessions will return, for boys and girls in Reception to Year 2, at the start of next term with the first being held on Saturday 2nd September 2023 back at Haymoor Junior School, Canford Heath, same time 10-11am. Re-registration will be required for all those eligible to return and the application form will be available on the website towards the end of August 2023.

Poole Town Wessex and Poole Town FC’s Kids Initiative have launched a NEW Girl’s only session on Saturday mornings which will run alongside the existing boys session at Haymoor school, Canford Heath.

The sessions will be FREE with no obligation but we do ask that participants register.

As with ALL sessions, Please remember to check that each session is running up to 1 hour before the start on the "Coaching ON/OFF" page. Details will be provided in the registration confirmation email.

Poole Town Sponsors Donate To The Kids Initiative

All involved with the Kids Initiative would like to thank Wessex Building Contractors and LMA Architects for their recent cash donations to our cause.

Both companies have recently become sponsors of Poole Town FC and, as part of their sponsorship package, £200 of the sponsorship is being donated to the KI’s account.
